I have a Tinius Olsen Plastometer with a UE-86 Controller. The calibration procedure calls for a resister to be put in place of the RTD for adjustment of P8. Can you tell me the ohm value of this resister? I have the manual, but is there a more detailed

Thanks for your question. According to our techs, that pot is used to get the preset temperature and actual temperature to read the same. It is not really a calibration. If you want to adjust it, then 190 C = 815.883 ohm resistor. Some times the adjustment is a pain and may make things worse. I would only adjust it if the difference was way off. Hope that this helps.
