 We have just finished the on-site upgrade of several melt indexers used by a well known processor in Brazil. The melt indexers were upgraded with our pneumatic purge and cleaning accessory since two labs were consolidated into one to save costs. These purge and cleaning attachments allow for a more automated approach to melt index testing and significantly reduces the amount of individual attention operators have to give to each machine, and also reduces the risk of operator fatigue while increasing productivity, especially with the cleaning process.
